Walk off Worry Fundraiser

ARCVic staff and volunteers will for the second year be taking part in the Great Ocean Road Walk on May 20th, 2018 to raise awareness and funds for the Anxiety Recovery Centre Victoria.

The OCD household
A workshop for teenagers with OCD and their carers

4 x 1.5 hour skills based sessions that provide information for both teenagers with OCD and their carers about ways they can manage OCD.  It is anticipated that both carers and teenagers with OCD will participate in separate respective groups at the same time to develop a deeper understanding of how best to manage OCD, as well as learning relevant strategies to help manage the symptoms using principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Exposure and Response Prevention.

OCD Cognitive Strategies and Recovery Workshops

New groups starting May (Surrey Hills and Broadmeadows)

The group program consists of 6 x 1.5 hour weekly sessions.  In between session participants also have the opportunity to have follow up phone contact by a Companion volunteer from ARCVic who will provide support and encouragement regarding group homework and to brainstorm any potential hurdles participants may be facing.
