Improve your Sleep

This 2 hour session provides well researched strategies for common sleep problems, and detailed information about normal sleep. This session includes information relevant to adolescents experiencing sleep problems and is suitable for parents and young people.

Sleep is an essential component of our physical and mental health. Yet for many people, getting a good night’s sleep regularly is problematic. Common sleep problems include difficulty falling asleep, waking in the night and not being able to go back to sleep, poor quality sleep and waking too early or too late. Often these sleep problems lead to becoming stressed and worried about getting a good night’s sleep. 

Gwenda Cannard is a Meditation & Relaxation Teacher and Stress Management Life Coach. She has strong knowledge and experience in the area of sleep, being the co-founder and former CEO of a state wide counselling and education service for anxiety disorders, depression and benzodiazepine dependency, and is the author of ‘The Better Sleep Booklet’. Gwenda brings a warm and light hearted approach to her teaching and has taught sessions on Improving  Sleep widely.
