Publications and Leaflets

ARCVic has been operating since 1987 and during that time has collected extensive information about anxiety disorders from a range of sources, both Australian and International. ARCVic keeps up-to-date with clinical, self-help and research developments through links and partnerships with other organisations, universities and professionals that specialise in anxiety disorders. ARCVic's information kits comprise pamphlets and information sheets based on this comprehensive information source, and aim to provide information that is accurate and evidence-based. The kits are reviewed and up-dated on a regular basis.

The Standard Kit for each disorder includes information about ARCVic services and support groups, a pamphlet providing an overview of the disorder and its treatment, a current resources list (including self-help and clinical books, video and audio visual, and useful web-sites) and several information sheets about specific aspects of the disorder, management, treatment, self-help and recovery.

Standard Information Kits are free to people with an anxiety disorder and their carers and families (one kit per person or family) in Australia, (kits ordered from overseas will be charged a postage/shipping charge).

Professionals and mental health care agencies may obtain Information Kits - a nominal fee may be charged depending on number of kits required.

Standard Information Kits are available covering:

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Trichotillomania
  • Body Dysmorphic Disorder
  • Hoarding
  • Parent/Carer OCD Information
